In-Conversation with Tilda Swinton, Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Josh Siegel
Moderated by Chomwan Weeraworawit, a conversation between friends to discuss what Cinema For All means to them, a journey back to 12 years ago when the convesation started in 2012 at Film on the Rocks Yao Noi, exploring what Expanded Cinema can mean and memories of when cinema was ignited for Tilda, Apichatpong and Josh. According to Tilda, it is not just Cinema for All, but that Cinema is Ours.
The conversation was followed by an outdoor double projection screening of Tea Lim Koun, Puos Keng Kang (The Snake King) (1970, Cambodia, 160m) and Pimpaka Towira, Mae Nak (2010, Thailand, 27m) on one side with the sountracks and Teinosuke Kinugasa, Kurutta Ichipeiji (A Page of Madness) (1926, Japan, 71m) and Jean Epstein, La Chute de la Maison Usher (The Fall of the House of Usher) (1928, France, 62m) on the other.
